Rest & Reset: A Practical Wellbeing Day for Social Workers (12th Sept)

£60.00

Professional downtime to recharge, lower stress, and protect against burnout.

Social work demands an incredible amount of emotional and mental energy. This workshop has emerged directly from witnessing the immense dedication, commitment, and relentless pressure that social workers experience every day in their much-valued roles. Left unmanaged, these sector demands easily lead to compassion fatigue. This focused wellbeing day is designed as a high-value, practical space to step away from the pressure, slow down, and genuinely replenish your professional resilience.

Expert-Led Support

To ensure the day is deeply relevant to your unique professional challenges, the event is co-facilitated by two experienced practitioners:

  • Michaela Slade (MNCS): A qualified therapist at The Heard Therapy, specialising in nervous system regulation.

  • Catherine Eveness: A qualified social worker and therapist from NeuroConnect, bringing a direct, frontline understanding of the sector's demands alongside therapeutic expertise.

Together, they offer evidence-based relaxation strategies. Through low-stress, ground-based interactions with horses and quiet time in nature, you will focus on lowering cortisol (stress hormone) levels and decompressing in a completely non-judgmental environment.

No riding and zero horse experience required. The horses simply act as a calming, grounded presence to help you slow down and reset.
